Peoria Harvest Co-op
Peoria Harvest Co-op is a cooperatively-owned store and community center that focuses on providing the Central Illinois community with nutritious, organic food from as many local farms as possible.
We are committed to prices that are significantly lower than retail, and supporting local farmers who practice organic, natural and sustainable production.
Your Co-op is opening in 2012!
Mission Statement/Purpose:
1. To provide the community with access to nutritious, organic food at reasonable prices, year-round.
2. To provide information on natural health and wellness to enable people to take charge of their own health.
3. To provide natural health and wellness products to the community at reasonable prices.
4. To assist the community towards the goal of living in a toxin-free environment, through green, natural products.
5. To provide the community a meeting space for classes and groups (free for coop members, and at a reasonable rate for others).
6. To provide holistic, green, and natural businesses a place to locate, with other related business, at reasonable rates.
7. To provide support for local holistic, green and natural businesses, through a barter network, and other projects.
